Passion Pit afterparty!

One of my favorite bands of 2009, Passion Pit is playing this Saturday at the Treasure Island Music festival along with a slew of other great artists (Dan Deacon, MGMT, MSTRKRFT, Girl Talk). We are throwing an afterparty for them at the newly reopened (with badass new sound) 222 Club (my fave club in SF). It is my first event at the new 222 so I am very excited, also super excited about Passion Pit.

Lovefest was this past weekend.

And what a crazzzzzyyyyy weekend it was! Friday night played with Green Velvet, Santiago and Bushido, Mark Farina and tons more at kelly’s mission rock. After my set we ventures to Mezzanine for the dirtybird party.

Saturday we had to get up at the buttcrack of dawn and head down to 111 Minna to jump on the float for the parade. Loveparade is easily one of my favorite things to be involved with each year. This year we really went all out (thanks Eric and Prem) and had the best float in the parade. We also had Groove Armada play on our float this year. After the parade I ventured home to rest up for a bit before hitting our afterparty at Mezzanine with LA Riots, DJ Heather, Trackademiks and more. This was one of the craziest weekends I have had in a bit.
